In 2011, I married my incredible wife, Courtney, and together we’re raising our three amazing kids: Violet, Samuel, and Timothy—each with their own unique gifts, opinions, and energy levels. I’ve been an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God since 2015, and in 2025, I graduated summa cum laude from Northwest University with a Bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership (which is a fancy way of saying I love structure and people).
I’ve had the joy of serving as an associate pastor at First Assembly of God, Hawaii, for over 15 years. Born and raised in Hawaii, my heart beats for this community and for seeing lives transformed by the love of Jesus. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats—pastor, worship leader, teacher, coffee drinker, and occasional tech support guy—but every role has centered on one mission: to help people encounter Christ and live out their God-given purpose
Over the years, I’ve discovered that my passion—and calling—lives in the tension between big vision and everyday discipleship. Whether I’m teaching leadership principles, helping a church rethink its systems, or investing in the next generation of world-changers, I focus on three areas that light me up: discipleship and leadership development, ministry for the next generation, and church strategy and systems. If it helps people grow in Christ and stay sane in ministry, I’m probably in.
My ministry philosophy is simple: discipleship works best in relationship, not just instruction. I believe in walking with people, not just preaching at them. I meet people where they are (coffee helps), walk with them in grace, and cheer them on as they step fully into the purpose God designed them for.
For eight years, I served as the Corporate Children’s Pastor at First Assembly, overseeing six campuses and developing leaders island-wide. Today, I serve as the Vision Administration and Connections Pastor, helping bring clarity, structure, and momentum to our church’s mission—and yes, sometimes that includes spreadsheets and donuts.
My passion for missions has taken me around the world—to Japan, Hong Kong, China, and Ireland, where I spent a gap year after high school helping to plant a church. Those experiences opened my eyes to God’s heart for the nations and fueled my desire to help others live on mission—wherever they are.
I’m also the founder of D2 Curriculum, a discipleship resource designed to help families, churches, and leaders spark meaningful conversations through simple, discussion-based lessons. In addition to my pastoral ministry, I coach, speak, and mentor—helping individuals and organizations step into God’s unique calling for their lives.
Whether I’m preaching on a Sunday or laughing with someone over coffee, my heart is the same: to build the Kingdom, one life at a time—with faith, grace, and a little bit of humor along the way.
